Job Summary: 
The Electrician position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all electrical issues on production equipment and machinery throughout the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintain, repair existing electrical equipment, components, and circuits to machines in production areas, run additional electrical service to areas, and troubleshoot PLC's.  
• Runs conduit, wires, makes electrical connections for machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform installation, integration, and maintenance of process instrumentation equipment to include gauges, switches, controllers, and motor control and power circuits.
• Understand machine specifications, repair manuals, sketches, schematic wiring diagram, layouts, quality and safety standards and PLC ladder logic.  
• Rebuild, replace, or repair defective components (motors, bearings, clutches, electrical systems).
• Understand and apply the National Electrical Safety Code at all times.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Troubleshoot mechanical problems on site.
• Math and Computer skills required.
• Forklift experience required. 
• Use and familiarity with power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Team Player and can focus on solutions.

Education and Experience: 

• High School diploma or Equivalency.
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical repair.
• Electrician License required. E1 or E2

Physical Requirements: Standing- 80%, Walking-20%, Lift, squat, pull, carry, deadlift 50+lbs,

Job Type: Full Time
Shift Available & Schedule: 1st shift: 8:00am-4:00pm (This position is a long term commercial onsite position, limited travel)
